Tyler Cantrell, M.S.

Junior Medical Physicist

Tyler completed a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Francis Marion University and a Master of Science in Health Physics from Texas A&M University.  In 2015, Tyler began working as a Health Physicist and is experienced in regulatory compliance, radiation safety audits, and maintaining radiation safety programs. 

Working as a liaison between a facility and a regulatory agency he worked to promote a radiation safety culture in Nuclear Pharmacies, Cyclotron Centers, and Calibration facilities.  Tyler was instrumental in handling radioactive material licensing amendments and state and federal agency correspondence.     

Tyler is a member of the Health Physics Society and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine.  He joined the OMPC team in February 2019.
