Shelly received her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ohio University in 2017. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology and a certificate in Radiation Therapy from the Ohio State University and Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. She received her board certification in Medical Dosimetry in 2010 and is a member of the Medical Dosimetrists Certification Board (MDCB), American Association of Medical Dosimetrists (AAMD) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) professional organizations.
OMPC is proud to have Shelly join the team in July 2014, adding another depth of comprehensive, high quality service for our radiation therapy clients. The addition of a highly qualified dosimetrist to the OMPC staff provides new avenues for service provided by OMPC.

Staff Medical Physicist
Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics from Brigham Young University in 2007 and a Master of Science degree in Radiological Physics from Wayne State University in 2008. He has maintained a continuous certification in therapeutic medical physics from the American Board of Radiology since 2012. He is an Authorized Medical Physicist (AMP) for HDR brachytherapy and a Certified Radiation Expert (CRE) in the state of Ohio.
Paul is experienced with stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) procedures, high dose rate (HDR) and low dose rate (LDR) brachytherapy, linear accelerator commissioning, treatment planning system beam modeling and verification, and implementing intrafraction motion management treatment programs. He has designed quality assurance programs in accordance with standards of regulatory agencies, accreditation bodies, and professional organizations.
Paul has excelled at collaborating with all personnel within clinical radiation oncology practices to achieve accurate treatment deliveries, rigorous quality assurance standards, and timely implementation of new technologies. Paul joined the OMPC team in April 2020, bringing over a decade of physics service experience with community and academic centers.

Staff Medical Physicist
Brooke completed her Master’s degree in Medical Physics from University of Kentucky in 2012 and became ABR Certified in 2018. Her excellent training at the University of Kentucky has made an impact on the quality of not only her clinical skills but her quality assurance testing procedures.
Brooke has been involved with OMPC as an intern in the past and not only made a significant contribution to our online education program during that time but mastered valuable skills towards becoming an excellent clinical physicist. Brooke joined the OMPC team in June, 2012.

Manal completed a Doctorate of Medical Physics from the University of Cincinnati/Medical Program in May 2021. She has experience with many aspects of therapy medical physics including SBRT, SRS, HDR and LDR Brachytherapy, TBI-TSET and superficial treatment. Manal joined the OMPC team in June 2021. She is Authorized Medical Physicist (AMP) for HDR.

Alan completed a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering and a Master of Science in chemical engineering from Case Western Reserve University. After several years of working as a radiotherapy service engineer, Alan pursued a role in clinical therapy medical physics. He completed his Master of Science in physics through the Cleveland State University/Cleveland Clinic medical physics program.
Alan has worked clinically since 2007 and has experience with many aspects of therapy medical physics including SRS and HDR brachytherapy.
Alan joined the OMPC team in October 2016. He is an Authorized Medical Physicist (AMP) for HDR brachytherapy and a Certified Radiation Expert (CRE) in the state of Ohio.
